STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please note that credit card payments for MAGIC DUNE TOURS cc are collected via DPO Group who are approved payment gateway for Namibian Acquiring Banks. DPO uses the strictest form of encryption, namely SECURE SOCKET LAYER 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website.

Customer details will be stored by MAGIC DUNE TOURS cc separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO’s secure site.
​
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is Namibia. Transaction currency is Namibian Dollar (NAD).
​
MAGIC DUNE TOURS cc shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users.
For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of
Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:
http://www.lawsofsouthafrica.up.ac.za/index.php/current-legislation.
The payment options will be provided upon confirmation of a booking. We will never ask you
to make a payment into an account outside of Namibia.

Inclusive Rates: All our rates are inclusive of a 15% Value Added Tax (VAT), providing
transparent pricing for your convenience.

Tours are subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 working day
and delivery confirmed by way of email notification.
​
No tour is private unless specifically requested and will be quoted for accordingly
All our tours include snacks, sparkling wine, beer, cool drinks, water and permits.
All tours are undertaken at clients own risk
The duration of all the tours are just an average duration, your tour might be slightly shorter OR
longer. This depends on the general weather conditions as well as the general conditions of the
route that we drive.
BOOKINGS:
A 30% confirmation deposit is required to secure your tour.

The balance of the tour payment is required 7 days prior to arrival. If the balance is not received within the 7 day before the departure date, the Company may cancel the reservation and retain whatever deposit or other funds it has already received from the client or his agent.
Cancellation / Refund policy
We understand that plans may change. However, cancellations of confirmed bookings must be done in writing (email) to the company 40 days and more 30% (deposit forfeited) Cancellation within 48 hours of the excursion, on the day of the tour, or no-shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cruise Liners – Not Docking: If a cruise ship does not dock, you will receive a 100% refund
Weather Guarantee:
Cancellation on the day due to bad weather or dangerous tides on tour is NON REFUNDABLE
Responsibility & Liability
Neither the Magic Dune Tours nor any person acting for through and on behalf of the Company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the a foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for the loss or damage arising from any errors or omissions contained in its brochure or other literature, late or non-confirmation or acceptance or bookings, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death, whether occasioned by negligence or not. All tours are undertaken at clients own risk Any person making a reservation with Magic Dune Tours warrants that he or she has the necessary authority to enter into this contract on behalf of the person or persons included in such a booking. The person making the reservation shall be liable for the total amount due to the Company.

Tours offered by the Company cover a wide spectrum of the African wilds and neither the Company, its employees or agents can be held responsible for any injury or other related incidents whilst on the tour.

MAGIC DUNE TOURS cc may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice. By booking your tour with us you agree to be part of our marketing campaigns on social media, if you do not want to be featured in our marketing then please advise your guide at the beginning of your tour.
